The material used for the production of splash curtains is a highly versatile and detergent-resistant compound, perfectly suitable for use in contact with food substances. Subjected to prolonged and intensive testing, it does not stiffen or curl, maintaining its original physical and mechanical characteristics unchanged.

Technical features

Tested in contact with the following fluids during the phases below:

1st – Hot washing water at +65°C, pH 12, detergents with an average concentration of 1.5 g/l, composed of:

  • Sodium hydroxide
  • Chlorine
  • Sodium metasilicate
  • Sequestering phosphate
  • Antifoaming agent
  • Wetting agent

and also:

  • Food residues dissolved in water
  • Proteins
  • Animal and vegetable fats
  • Carbohydrates

2nd – Hot rinsing water at +85°C, with surfactants at an average concentration of 0.07 g/l

3rd – Hot air at an average temperature of +70°C
